Think Make Tank is an art tank, art lab, artist collective bringing community together, building experiences around human perception.

The vision of Think Make Tank is to invite people to question and experience their own reality. We value playfulness, collectivism, openness, diversity, dialogue, and experimentation. Our happenings are like interruptions. We are based in San Francisco and our projects extend beyond these walls to the streets and other countries.

Founded in 2016 by Alex Nichols, she co-directs the collective with Mushi Wooseong James. They were joined by Jorge Bachmann in 2017 and Magali Charmot in 2018 solidifying the dynamic core team.

Bringing in artists locally, nationally and internationally, TMT builds an intentional community where different perspectives can be held safely and new ways of seeing can be experienced.

Previously located in an industrial building in Potrero Hill, San Francisco, they are currently creating online participatory projects to adapt to the new world and continue building community.
